Gort Cancer Support
Gort Cancer Support was established in June 2007 to provide support and practical assistance to people affected by a cancer diagnosis. We adopt a holistic approach towards our clients and their family members by providing a range of activities and social events which will enhance our clients wellbeing and coping skills. Our cancer support centre is managed and operated by trained volunteers with the assistance of administrative staff and professional therapists. We offer a home from home environment where one will feel relaxed and welcome.
Our Registered Charity Number (RCN) is 20075927.

We’re blown away by the Kilroy family, who raised an amazing €9,500 for our Support Centre by taking on a series of impressive challenges ….. each member played their part:
William (4) climbed Croagh Patrick 🥾
Amber (8) cycled 40km from Galway City 🚴♀️
Robyn (10) completed her first triathlon and came 2nd! 🏊♀️
Linda (Mom) ran a half marathon 🏃♀️
Barry (Dad) stepped into the ring for white collar boxing 🥊
These funds will go directly toward helping friends and neighbours in our communities who are facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. 💛
Thank you, Kilroy family — your strength and kindness inspire us all! 🌟
